I drew my wreath on the page in my Journaling Bible that covers Romans 3:25 through 29. I will probably go back in and write the words in the wreath since they are important.
This week my heart hurt in the area of color discrimination. I read story after story of what happens when a person of color is confronted with discrimination in daily activities (jogging, shopping, being stopped by a policeman, seeking medical care, etc.) - it is so sad. Then I had one of my family members harrassed for not being discriminatory and that came from so called friends and so called Christians. One of which drives around with a Bible Verse on their van. We all need a cicumcision of our heart if we plan to get past those gates. As I get older and experience age discrimination, it makes me even madder because I get a taste of what it feels like (a little bit). I have even thought about getting a doctorate so that people don't treat me like I can't understand things because my hair is gray.
Back to pretty things. Can't wait to see what beautiful things the IC gang makes from this lovely site.

Wow, your wreath and bow are gorgeous. Your words rang out to me, I feel the same way there are so many times that we are judged by just the way that God made us, and we have no idea what is happening in others lives, pray we all can have more understanding and love for each other
