This is my sample for the Color Challenge. Our hostess, LeAnn selected a lovely, soft combination with enamel dots or gems for the dessert option. This month I have been using stamp sets that will be retiring very soon. I thought these soft colors could look shabby chic or vintage, so I chose to use the Very Versailles set.
I stamped the leaves, script & trim and blended on the same color ink over the stamping. Then I distressed the edges and sponged on Sahara Sand. I wrapped satin ribbon across and placed the sentiment ovals on top. The scallop oval is double stacked with another strip to fit on the ribbon to give it just a little lift. Lastly, I embellished with pink pearls for dessert.
Absolutely lovely colors to work with. I look forward to seeing what you create. TFL

This is one of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Diane. I'm so glad you used it for this week's challenge; the design works perfectly with these colors! Love the shabby-chic feel and the shiny ribbon and pearls, too!

Diane, great choice of images for this week's colors. My favorite card designs are those with a vintage look, but find they are difficult (for me) to design! You've done an outstanding job creating this beauty! TFS
