Though this background is described as winter swirls, it definitely made me think of Van Gogh's starry nights, so I was going to work it into a card for Toni's WTUI challenge last week. Stamped it in blue, embossed with clear EP and then sponged over it with two blues, two yellows. And then tried all sorts of stars on it, not happy with how any of them looked. Instead I chose to use some old Primas with a punched stamen centre and single pearl in each. Sponged the base with the same Lavinia blue that I had stamped in, and added a sentiment stamped in white on blue.

OMG, Sabrina, this is absolutely stunning. Everything is just perfect. It has such a feeling of motion...I have not decided if it feels like swirling water or blowing winds. I like it much better than the origional Stary Night.
