A big congrats to Vicky, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the flowers in the oval but used different images & dies, different colors & turned my card horizontal.
My card started w/ a brayered bg I made ages ago. I thought the bright colors would look good behind this beautiful new plaid cover die. After I die cut the plaid, I added some strips of thicker paper behind it to elevate it a bit then attached it to the colorful bg. The flowers were colored to match & die cut w/ their matching die. I didn't have a blue the right color, so I used the blue ink from the rainbow pad to color it to match.
Thanks so much for looking. I'll have it on my blog tomorrow.

Ooooh, this may be my new favorite bg die. I love the look of the plaid die cut, but it may just be that gorgeous bright brayered bg. Whichever, it makes for a gorgeous backdrop for you sweet flowers. Fabulous card.
Julie, this is a great case of Vicky's card. I love how you used the colorful background behind the cover plate die. I struggled with the die. The flowers are colored so beautifully!
