This is for yesterday's WCW- learning to paint different values of watercolors. Yes, softening the edges is challenging; I only have brushes that snap back. But I think I did ok with going from light to dark. The pink is peony Color Burst powder, I didn't have something light enough in regular wc. I didn't mess with the branch again, just left it be. Instead of painting with the gold, I splattered.
For today's WT, use text, I used a set of three geometric stamps that have text on them. I really like the sentiment.

Beautiful! I haven't checked out this WCW yet but I'm loving all the cards I see...I love transparency of the circles and your gold splatters. Fab quote!

I still haven't tried this week's WC technique, but I think you did a good job, and gold splatters seem like a good way to handle the gold element to me. Interesting contrast between the soft cotton balls and the text shapes. I wouldn't expect it to work, but it really does.

Now those are some thought-provoking words, Jean. I love your extra stamping with the color puffs. Beautiful work. Hugz
