What an interesting Ways to this week, Polly! I enjoyed reading your prompts and pondering the future for text. Took me back to my high school typing class. And so I had to do a little side step...I'll explain.
My card is for a very 'chair~ished young woman. And I happened to have a Hepplewhite Heart stamp, smile! This chair originated from 1780-1810 during the Federal Period in the United States. I stamped the image, fussy cut the chair, paper pieced the seat and gilded the wood frame
The sentiment 'text' was collaged with a scrabble tile, a 3-d 'r' and Purple Onion fonts in 'Playful Heart' and 'Arts and Crafts'. I still love all my red rubber alphabets...I managed 4 fonts with this card. Just call me old skool...gotta love a play on words.
Thanks for hanging with me...

LOVE the scrabble square and all the different fonts! Well done mf. That chair is awesome and so is your fussy cutting. Your card is great...full of hidden meaning behind each design element.

Fantastic card! That chair stamp is great and I love your paper piecing and gold on the wood. Your mixed fonts are so fun and that scrabble tile! I have my grandma's old wooden scrabble tiles that I save for special cards!

Great pun, beautifully combined with the Scrabble tile and "r". The chair reminds me of my grandmother's old Hepplewhites, except they were upholstered in a green velvet. I didn't know that they had originated on your side of the Atlantic.
