Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and what a pretty combination she has selected for us to play with. The colors are Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, and So Saffron. The dessert option is to add Just Jade to your palette. Four colors are always a treat, and this was a great opportunity for me to try out my new Create In Quads stencil set from Taylored Expressions.
The idea here is to take a full sheet of white cardstock and use four ink colors to stencil through the openings in each of the four stencils. The stencils are sized for a full page, and each quadrant is different. When you're done, you cut the paper in half both horizontally and vertically, and you have the beginnings of colorful card fronts for four cards. I placed my three additional fronts in the picture for you to see.
I stamped the Happy Birthday on Pretty Peacock cardstock with VersaMark ink, then heat embossed with white powder. Added the greeting to a rectangle of vellum, then added a few gems!
These colors are so pretty; I can't wait to see what you create with them this week. See you in the gallery!

this is an awesome stenciled pattern Barbara- I love all the card fronts you created - I was looking at this stencil- now I definitely want it (LOL). I think the birthday card is perfect for a masculine birthday.
