This is for yesterday's MIX-Dina offered us a color challenge, a photo of a Dairy Queen cup, in memory of her father on his birthday. I don't know how long he lived but he would have been 88 yesterday. I love how Dina says he would sneak out to have a Dairy Queen treat. I just drove past our Dairy Queen, on the way to our custard place, which I have to say is much better than Dairy Queen. I love that she celebrated his life this way.
This is also for today's IC. https://www.jamesstreethomedecor.com...g-with-tassels
I have been itching to use this set from Club Scrap called Navajo. I ink blended the back ground, stamped in the twilight and clear embossed. The 'life' stamp is also from that set and I added some gold dots around the edges to add to the mixed media. I love the sentiment. I'm guessing Dina's Dad laughed a fair amount.
Thanks for the challenges!

Agree totally with your quote! Your choice of toned down hues is beautiful for that cool Navaho pattern. Such a powerful message. Me thinks your custard is a frozen delight.
