I went with stripes for my card for Sharon. I stenciled diagonal stripes using Distress Oxide inks on Bristol paper. I kept sliding the stencil down a bit and repeated the process with all the colors so they eventually built up on top of each other resulting in variations of the same colors. I was actually pleasantly surprised how fun it turned out. I embossed the teacup with white embossing powder and used the same ink colors to watercolor the flowers and used colored pencils to add some shadows and definition to the teacup. Thanks Polly for hosting this challenge - I know Sharon will be thrilled to receive such fun cards from fellow cardmakers.

Your color theme is luscious! I adore your stenciled background and the embossed teacup and softly colored flowers to match your background. I feel sure Sharon will fall in love with this beauty!

Talk about a bit of sunshine in card...you nailed it. I LOVE that gorgeous bg and I pinned this beauty for future reference. Topping it off with the white embossed tea cup -- fabulous! Awesome card.
