I've definitely made a lot of tiled floors over the years, but I guess I never put on in the gallery. I have no doubt that it was Susie that first inspired me to try the tiled floors. A friend asked me to make a card for her grandson's second birthday and in true Jen fashion, I procrastinated until the day I needed it. It's Town Election day, so I'll be delivering this card to my friend when I see her today. I asked Desmond what to put on a birthday card for a two year-old boy and he said Mickey. Today's checkerboard floor challenge helped me over the finish line with this card. I drew the floor (which turned out a little wonky) on the red cardstock and colored with black Sharpie and white Signo pen. Then I stenciled some white polka dots with the white pen, cut the 2 with my ScanNCut and added the rest of the die cuts. Plenty of time to spare :0)

Love the floor and the yellow for Henry!
