I haven't tried the WCW birch trees but I thought you might like to see a painting I did quite a few years ago with basically the same technique, except using black pens to create the look of birch. Otherwise it's very much the same. I did pop up a few trees. I had had the frame forever so, as you can tell, I've been a tree hugger, leaf lover for a long time. It just took learning how to Zentangle/doodle and use watercolors to bring it all together.

Love your trees and sky and the pretty framing. Birch trees have been a favorite for many years.

The drawn-in lines look wonderful on your birch trees. They must have taken a long time (or at least a lot longer than swiping a card over the tree trunk.)
