Layers of ink
I made a peace tag using the Ukraine flag colors as my background. Instead of a dove, a humble blue tit is carrying the message.

Coat the background with gesso and when dry, paint with Distress Paint, mist with water to blend. Sponge white paint through heart stencil and stamp with a crackle background. Die cut the bird from watercolor paper and watercolor it with Distress Ink. Finish with a branch made in the same way.
