Don't you just love this little guy? A friend of mine sent me a copy. This is for today's free for all to include a bird in our card.
Okay, I hope I can explain his bowtie The bg dsp (strips) came in a 12x12 sheet. So as you can see it is much larger plaid than the bowtie. So I scanned the 12X12, copied in a word document, shrunk it down in size, so it would be more appropriate for his little bowtie. So the bg dsp is the same as his bowtie. I also took my copic and bounced it up and down on the chick to make him look sort of fluffy. Not sure I achieved that LOL.
This will go to my Great Nephew for Easter.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look. I appreciate it.

Your chick is adorable and he looks fluffy to me. Good job getting the bow tie to match your strips.

Love your chubby little guy, Barb. Your technique with the Copic bouncing really makes him look fluffy. So brilliant...and technilogical saavy.... to shrink the plaid for his bow tie. A truly adorable and special card..
Oh my goodness! How clever of you to shrink the patterned paper! I have so many pretty pieces of patterned paper that are too large for cards. You are a genius and your chick is darling! I think you achieved a lovely soft look on your chick!
