I usually don't combine challenges, but Monday I saw the layered retiform of Dina's and wanted to try it. It goes great with this digi. My friend owns a rescue drive pony that looks like this digi. His name is Harry and gives the best buggy rides. She will enjoy this card. Printed the digi and with the t-ruler created the background sketch and painted with watercolors. When finished doodled some elements on the card. Fits into Sabrina's challenge. This was a fun card today on this gray cool day. TFL

That is a fun image, especially will be for your friend. So you did the retiform around the image? That must have been tricky. I love the doodling...you need to do it more often. Fabulous card! And you enabled me with HettyClare...had to get a few of her stamps (incl that darling bear and hearts)

Your background turned out so well. I do want to try the technique with watercolours, when I have time to sit and let it dry. You did a great job doing it around Harry, who is just delightful looking. Doodling along the borders is a great look with the cartoon style of the horse.
