Barbara is our sweet hostess this week for Color Challenge CC888! She has selected some bright and happy colors... Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Magenta Madness with the Dessert Option 'Summer'. I also thought I would include this in the CAS challenge this week as it's focal point is 'yellow'! What fun these two challenges were, thank you ladies!
I guess it's pretty apparent I opted to add a Neutral color, Night of Navy to Barbara's color pallete. My mind immediately drifted to sailing on the sea with a beautiful sunset. I used a mask for the sun and waves and sponged the scene. The water was highlighted by using a white gel pen. The boat was given highlights by using Stampin' Blends. This is a quick design with lots of color. I'm not sure it's so clean looking but it a simple one.
We, the design team hope you join in on Barbara's challenge, we would love to see what you have to share!

Oh, LeAnn, I adore this scene you've created! I love how the sun is nestled among the waves, and how dimensional the sailboat is. Love the ink blending, too!

So pretty with the dark blue waves.
