Our challenge today is SPRING - thank you Shirley! I lightly spritzed the white panel with water, then ran it though my die cut machine 3 times. Let it dry in the sun (yes we have sun today). Colored with alcohol inks - tedious, but has a calming effect for me. Placed on an embossed purple base. Not sure yet if I want to add a sentiment.
I bought the 36 piece set of Spectrum Noir Hint of color pens - such pretty pastels!
The spritzing allows the paper fibers to stretch and gives a much better result. I tested it without spritzing and running through just once - there is a definite difference. It also helps greatly to use a heavy weight cardstock when using 3D folders - light weight tends to crack and wrinkle.

Wow, I am so impressed with your coloring skills!! I'm sure this required patience and a very steady hand! Gorgeous!

Your tip for spritzing the heavy card stock before using 3D folders is one I will definitely be using! This folder is truly beautiful and the soft colors you've chosen are just perfect for spring. Faved!
P. S. I think this is way too beautiful as it is to add a sentiment over it!
