I'm not sure how much this actually looks like a chalkboard but I kinda like how it turned out. I recently got an older retired SU set, Gently Falling, that looked like it would look good stamped on black and embossed in white. So I did that, and then dug out some verrrry old interference paint in blu and painted the flowers on the stamped image. I cut the image out and decided to keep going with the metallic theme for the other Monday challenge this week, so I layered the image onto silver glitter cardstock. I had some of the blue interference paint left on the plate where I had squeezed it out, so to keep from wasting it I painted it onto some of the black cardstock scraps. I then used a new-to-me SU three flower punch to punch some flowers from the painted scraps. I used a small circle punch to punch flower centers from the glitter cardstock and glued to the flowers.
I decided I need a more chalkboard-ish look so cut a larger scrap of black cardstock and sponged it with white ink to look like a well-used and erased board. I layered the stamped piece onto the inked rectangle and glued on the three flowers. I covered the front of a white card with more of the black paper, then added a strip of the silver glitter paper, and attached the focal piece on top.
USEIT2022: the SU three flower punch and Gently Falling set were both recent acquisitions used here for the first time. The glitter paper was in my stash for a while, and the interference paint is old enough to buy beer!
