Hello! Today in the Mix-Ability forum we are challenged to use a Drip Line! Well, we don't use an actual drip line, but you can get creative and drip a line as you like!
I played with watercolor, acrylics, and alcohol inks before getting to this completed card. I dabbed watercolor on the long edge of a tilted watercolor paper and waited for the drop to roll down. Sometimes I added a little water to let gravity speed it up because watching them fall was similar to watching water boil on the stove. I'm such an impatient crafter.
Not on this card, but the acrylic was dabbed similarly as the watercolor, but I used a spray bottle with water to spread the paint. It worked for the first few layers but washed out the top so I didn't spray the last layer. (You can see a thumbnail in the challenge post.)
Again, not on this card. The alcohol ink was dripped on a monoprint plate and let to dry before adding a white acrylic paint transfer layer. Once done I wasn't impressed with my novice skills and tried to finesse it which ended up in a big blurry mess! LOL
