Hello all, and TFL!
This is a card I made for a young man opening a new floral and coffee shop in Scottsdale. He is a teenager and amazing entepreneur. !!
In all fairness, I designed this card myself, and then found this wonderful IC789 challenge and went to the Tim Holtz Pinterest board and found several cards that inspired me, and this card is the closest to my thoughts as I began my design.

Keeping it NEUTRAL works for me when it's a project for a teenage young man, but I added just a pop with the Razzleberry paper as he is selling some exotic flowers with bright colors.
I love using unusual papers, and had some brown packing paper from recent shipment and it had some great folds. I inked the Alphabet EF and then run it thru, loving that the ink makes the pattern be backwards : )... not for every card, but remember this is for a 16 yr old. I think he will think its fun!
I love the core'dinations paper for this as I sanded the background brown and then countersunk some of the green branches back into the cutout areas of brown branches were cut. THen layered the additional branches up the top and they are loose and have much movement and depth effect.
I colored front and back of the Grungeboard 'S' with StazOn black ink and then added the Ranger Glossy Accents to the top to make it glossy, lastly attaching with a mini brad (thru the black paper bg)
The die cut floral speaks for itself, it was FUN to use, only sponged the one leaf at the bottom.
Splattered with a paintbrush and my NEW purchase of white ink and this is the first time i really got the white splatter effect i have been trying to get for years! i didn't dilute at all, just a little on the tips full strength.
Added the GROW sentiment word at the last minute. after all, he wants his business to grow, for sure! thought it might be a good mantra....
I also made a 5x7 env from the same Kraft paper and then decorated the mailing side (in full, as i hand delivered this) of the envelope using white gesso to splash cover the kraft, then used the S U Postage Due stamp in BBSugar, and S U stamp DryBrush in CCake on top of the white gesso. Then used the green paper i had cut out those branches from as a 'stencil' and sponged in the branches on top of all the layers of ink (dried with heat tool) with Mossy Meadow and Crumb Cake ink. I haven't planned on posting that, but wanted to give you the whole picture. hahhaha
take good care and hope you have a fun teenager in your world to make something a little 'wild' or different for! it's an amazing new generation, with ambition. : )
