I kept her general beach theme and seagrass, but painted my background with acrylic paint on some old music paper. I tore it up a bit as it would not fit and I wanted to keep the very top and the very bottom. I also made mine a sympathy card instead of a birthday card.
Congrats Nancy, and I sure hope you enjoy your week as Featured Stamper. Your gallery is full of lovely creations and I really enjoyed looking through your blog as well.

Oh, I love your torn pieces to create this awesome card. Love the sentiment, also.

Your clever design to make your bg fit turned into a beautiful design with those tears. Really adds texture and interest to what was already a beautiful background. Love the grass stamp. It's the perfect serene scene for that lovely message. Beautiful card.
Nancy, this is a wonderful case of Nancy's card. I love the paper tearing and layering of your paper and the soft beach/sea oats on the bottom. The sentiment is perfect and a wonderful thought for a sympathy card.

This saying is wonderful. I love the torn paper for the sea themed card.
