I was kind of stumped by the WTUI challenge with tickets this week, since I donât have tickets themselves or many travel themed stamps or embellishments, but then I remembered some Basic Grey papers that I got in a grab bag last year and didnât really know what to do with! One has a travel themed print that includes images of tickets, and the double sided print made it perfect to finally attempt a collar fold card after all these years.
I started with a Kraft brown card and cut some dark orange cardstock just a little smaller, then cut a piece of the BG paper a bit smaller than that. I found the center of the right side of the piece and cut a 1.5 inch line, then folded the sides of the cut back and burnished and glued in place. I layered the print piece onto the dark orange and attached with tape runner then did the same with the orange card to the base card. I stamped the sentiment in black ink. I usd a circle die to cut out the plane image from another piece of BG paper from the same series, then cut a larger circle from a scrap of dark orange pattern paper and attached to the plane circle. I used foam tape to attach to the card.
USEIT2022 - used new to me set Letâs Set Sail for first time and also some pattern paper which Iâd had for a while with no idea of how I would use it!
Thanks for another fun challenge!

Wonderful card for this challenge and a great way to showcase that fab DP. I only recently learned the collar fold, and I like how you used it in this card.
