I saw a Laurel Beard video a while ago where she described her âmagic mugâ, a desk container where she throws all the bits and pieces leftover from card projects, that she periodically empties and makes cards from. I adopted the magic mug on my desk, and today I made cards from it.
I made another card a few weeks ago with a similar design of a die cut âwindowâ filled with sticker cactus plants. The remaining cacti from the sheet of stickers were in the magic mug today. The base card is from a set of six blank-inside cards from Dollar Tree. I cut a scrap of light green cardstock a little smaller than the card front and glued the brown die cut frame to it. I added the stickers and stamped the sentiment, then attached to the card front with foam tape.
Since there is a lot of green, Iâm putting this in for the Free for All challenge to use green as a main color in a card design.
