My son will have his birthday as part of the marathon of them this week in our family, and I had picked this stamp up last year to do his card with. So, I had it on the table, stamped off in grey with one layer of blue (his favorite color) paint on it drying when I seen that Deb was this week's featured stamper and I came across this neat card of hers. and I just grinned and laughed and adjusted my design to play off of hers. I have changed the colors, stamps and I have less layers, moved the sentiment to a tied on tag eliminating the bling and ribbon. Deb, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for this challenge Kittie & tfl.

I love how it turned out. The faded/worn textures and colors you created are nicely done. I'm sure your son will love it! Thanks for casing my card. Deb Mauch

I knew immediately the card you cased as I was thinking of that too. But I could not have done it justice like you have done here, Stacy. I love the weathered wood look and that notebook die treatment. Wonderful sentiment and twine! Faved!

This is such a great card for your son! I love the wood plank and the wonderful background behind the guitar. The twine at top and edging look fantastic.
