Once I got going with this collage, it was quite fun. No, Jaynie, I did not get at it yesterday!
I started with a square piece of corrugated cardboard, glued some clothing tags on it for texture. I Gessoed the piece, then sprayed some yellow hued DOx. I diecut some paint chips with circle dies, stamped the birds with the twilight and sprayed with DOx. Fussy cut them out. Used a background stamp with Stazon black on parts of the base. Dabbed some bronze acrylic on the birch bark.
If you look closely, the birds have their aviator helmets on, ready to fly.

would you look at that! {u} collaging...cool! You've really collaged for a long time...you make it look so seamless, it often gets missed! This is so interesting, I've gone down the rabbit hole...gotta luv that stone.
