I don't often combine challenges, but today's watercolor abstract angel seemed the perfect fit for yesterday's teapot recipient, Joyce who recently lost her husband of over 50 years.
I experimented with several color combinations finally settling on a combo of Teal and Garden green. Abstracts, by their very nature, really can't be controlled so while this isn't the vision I started with in my head, I do like the "Fierce Protector" illusion I could see emerge as it dried! I'll get this in today's mail to Joyce.

WOW, Linda! What a wonderful use of colors! Love how they blended. The message of strength and never being alone will most certainly bring comfort to Joyce. Hugs!

Well, naturally I think you chose the perfect colors for this glorious angel. Your watercolored rendering of an angel is off the hook and your colors mixed and mingled in such a beautiful mosaic. Pairing your "Fierce Protector" with that lovely verse combined to make the perfect card for Joyce. Excellent work!
