Watercolor papers always present a challenge to me. I am not sure if my impatience is the problem - the techniques seem obvious but LOL.
First I spritzed the paper and stamped the 3 larger background images. After this was dry I smeared it a bit more with the AquaPainter and here things began to go wrong.
I tried adding a cloud, but still was not happy. I added foreground detail without smearing (yuk). I added sailboats to cover brown streaks - not sure where those came from!
It does not look to bad in thumbnail, but up close is not so good. Oh well, try and try again - I have a few sheets of the W/C paper leftover, not sure I will buy it again.
But for the record, I had fun with this attempt.

Love your negative embossed framing! Your sailboat watercolor came out quite lovely...beautiful colors! Love how you "fixed" your mistakes...wonderful that the results were so pretty!
