I finally got the Pierced Blooms dies that I have been covering for ages, so I definitely wanted to try them out with last weekâs sketch! I was still in a purple mood after making the ribbon card so I dug out some purple pattern paper and cardstock scraps for this card. I layered the piece of pattern paper on the front of a white card, then die cut the flowers from three different shades of purple cardstock. I also cut three centers for the flowers from yellow cardstock.I attached a piece of purple gingham print ribbon across the front of the card and layered the flowers on using foam tape. I glued the flower centers on and then added glittery dot stickers to each center. I stamped the sentiment in eggplant ink. I had started to add a leaf to the flowers as the âheartâ element as in the original sketch but I preferred the more symmetrical look without, so left it off!
USEIT2022: brand new dies getting their first use! Ribbon is new also; paper scraps and glittery dot stickers came from older stash, and the Denami stamp is probably more than 20 years old!

Loving your purples. So glad you got these dies and got to play with them. I am finding them to be more versatile that I expected. I like how you added enamel dots to the centers. Need to remember that!
