A big congrats to Diane, the newest Featured Stamper (FS784). She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the colors & long layout, but used different images, dies & technique & made mine a mini slimline card.
For my mini slimline card, I started w/ a white panel that had two dandelion type flowers on it..a leftover from Techinique Challenge TLC677, where we used acrylic paint & a rolled up paper towel tube w/ slits cut into the end. I put this into my Misti & stamped just the heavier inner lines of the layered daisy stamp w/ the teal colored Versaclair & embossed it w/ a sparkly teal powder. I did the same to the long stems. The center of the daisy & greeting were stamped w/ the orange Versaclair & embossed w/ a sparkly orange powder. After die cutting the panel, I placed off center on top of a teal panel die cut w/ the quilted mini slimline cover die & added a few sequins.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & links: The Write Stuff

I LOVE the colors in those flowers and I love how you turned the TLC dandelions into these whimsical and adorable flowers. They set the perfect tone for that fabulous sentiment. The colors are wonderful, the design/layout is wonderful, the embellishments are wonderful, this card is wonderful.
Julie, this is such a good case of Diane's card. I love the color combination you cased from her card. The Field of Daisies flowers are so pretty and I like how you layered the flower layer over the white slimline showing one line of the diamonds down the side and bottom.

I love the tall theme for both of you, and your placement of the flowers is wonderful, Julie. Love the bright colors.

So cheery and bright. Love the colours you've used. Just an all-round happy sort of card.
