Puzzle-loving Jay, whose birthday is on Valentine's Day, is having a big birthday and the Tea Potters are sending him some Big Happy Birthday Wishes. Jen (aka Jennifrann) challenged us to use a Valentine stamp on a birthday card. I got my inspiration from her as well with her adorable Valentine's peacock. Here's the link to her fun card: MMTPT707 Birthentine's Day by Jennifrann at Splitcoaststampers
I couldn't figure out how to incorporate a puzzle so I didn't try. I love this big MFT birthday die and I think it's great for guy's bdays. Naturally, I used red because that is his wife Anne's favorite color. I hope Jay likes red too -- I mean he's a Valentine's baby so he must, right. I wanted Hedgie to be gray, but he just didn't stand out enough so we dyed his hair brown for this photo shoot. I used the SSS stencil for the flame, fussy cut, glued and then drew a "wick" for the candle.
I hope all the cards coming Jay's way will make him special and celebrated on his special day. I hope each of you feel celebrated today as well. Hugs and TFL.

LOVE the BIG words, that adorable hedgehog and the candle for the I!! Your coloring is awesome - both on hedgie but even on the flame! What could be better than this for such a BIG birthday?!

I love your big inset sentiment and especially turning the I into a candle! Love your "dye job" on the hedgie - I got tickled at your write up - the description is as fun as the card.
