I like this stamp/die combination from Picket Fence, except I wish the sentiments were bigger. 'May you always have a shell in your pocket and sand in your toes' and 'Swimming in the Sea is Meant To Be.'
I applied the swirl with masking fluid, let it dry, spritzed the paper with water and added the reinkers. I also splattered with two Dylusians inks: white and jade. The watercolor paper is Dina Wakely heavy weight, really nice thick paper. I created another smaller panel with the jade and the blue for stamping the shell with Versamark and then heat embossed in white. Thanks for these colors, Barbara, I enjoyed them. I feel like I do best with colors close together on the color wheel. Or maybe I just like them better. Dessert was water, which I obviously embraced.

This is gorgeous Jean! You and I had very similar approaches to this challenge. But you carried yours to the next level! I love the sentiments and that swirl is wonderful. Great card!

What a fantastic card, Jean! I love the quote about shell in pocket and sand in toes! The beach is my favorite place to be, so you know I love this card! Using masking fluid--what a great idea and great execution, love the vibrant colors!

Beautifully done. Love how you used the emboss resist technique to create the large swirl that mimics the small swirl in the seashell. Awesome use of the challenge colors. Love it all!
