I just got these strawberry dies by The Greetery and was dying to try them with my left hand (still recuperating from thumb surgery on my right hand) and even though it took me FOREVER, I made this Mothers Day card for my mom. Itâs a bit early but I thought why not? My mom has alzheimers and is in assistant living place down in FL. She used to love to go to the Strawberry Festival in Plant City every March. So this is perfect for her!

Super sweet card! Dementia is awful but some old neighbors of ours made the best of it in a way—their mom/grandma loved having a fuss made over her and it would make her happy for days afterward so they celebrated her birthday with cards and hats and balloons and cake about once a month. You could possibly celebrate Mothers Day twice!

Wonderful Mom card, Sherri! Love the berries..esp. the choc covered one. Good luck on your healing. I remember when I had surgery in two places on my hand. What a pain!

Love this - those strawberry dies are wonderful. My dear, sweet Mom has Parkinson's Disease Dementia and the cards I make bring big smiles to her face. I'm sure this will provide lots of smiles for your Mom. Hope the hand heals quickly!

So special that you mom loved the Strawberry Festival and you are gifting her this wonderful Strawberry card. I love love love the sentiment you've used here. I think Gayle's right -- she'll be showing this off to everyone at her home. Great CASE and a wonderful card. Hope you heal quickly. It's not fun working with the "other" hand.
