Another card in my self-challenge to use the oldest card sketches. I absolutely love this set of owl and bird dimensional stickers I got at Dollar Tree recently, and these two birds that face each other were a perfect fit for this card design.
I went to my working scrap pile on my desk for all the paper layers. The working pile is the recently used papers or the papers I got out of the scrap boxes to make cards with, one of my goals is put back less than I took out so I use the working pile as much as possible til Iâm sick of it all and move the rest to a scrap box and take out some new stuff.
Anyway I thought the stickers went perfectly with the striped paper so designed around them. I layered a rectangle of the striped paper onto a larger rectangle of light green paper. I die cut squares from kraft cardstock and smaller squares from the green paper and attached them together, then added the bird sticker to each square and attached the squares to the card with foam tape.
I have a stamp SOMEWHERE with that sentiment but could not find it, so I ended up computer generating my own version, cutting it into a banner, and adding it to the card front.
USEIT2022 - paper scraps, used four more stickers from a Dollar Tree pack (I made two of this card).
