Without Lisa's challenge today I would never have tried creating a herringbone pattern - I may have another go with 'real' scraps! I followed the video in the link keeping my strips the same size - mixing it up was waaay too risky for a novice! I finished mine with die cut circles and words. Made a bow for the 'empty' corner. ~ TFL today ~
Edit - forgot to say I popped the completed herringbone through a dotty EF!

I love this fun herringbone Sandie, love the dots embossing and the dotted bow, pretty layered base colors too, and it's never too late to make another with masculine papers...

The dark color really sets off the brighter ones. How pretty this is, and what a great job you did, Sandie!

Double dotty, double fabulous. It's a fun technique, and really is good for using up scraps - but looks fantastic with your dedicated coordinating papers.
