What a fun theme we have to work with this month! Right off the bat, I knew I wanted to make a card featuring a tiara. I found this digi image and printed it along with the sentiment. Then colored the tiara with silver gel pen, embossed the border and added 34 (count 'em!) rhinestones in three sizes. I played with different sizes of image and border, and although I would like more blue to show, I wanted the tiara to be large and in charge! I wish I could send this to one of the best teachers I've ever known who put a tiara on whenever her class needed reminding who was in charge! Tragically, she passed away unexpectedly at the age of 50, leaving a great hole in my heart but a wonderful legacy!

Loved the card and to read about your wonderful teacher - I had a few like that! I also own several tiaras, purchased for specific events through the years. I usually wear one for New Years Eve.

It’s a tiara! It’s a tiara! It’s a tiara! This just makes me think of that episode from Big Bang Theory when Sheldon gives Amy a tiara! This just makes me grin!

Love your story of the significance of the tiara to you. It reminds me of my granddaughter as a two year old…she put on her tiara, strutted down the hall and announced “I AM the Queen.” Her stature, expression and inflection in her voice all changed as she proclaimed herself woman-in-charge.
