I kept the purple and yellow color scheme and wreath design, and changed to a diecut rather than stamped wreath, and made a spring-themed all occasion card rather than birthday.
I started by diecutting the wreath shape from a white card base. I used washi tape to hold the wreath center in place and put the diecut wreath aside for another project. I used ink blending to blend yellow, pink and light purple on the card front.
I cut the wreath again from green cardstock and fitted it into place on the card front, then glued a piece of white cardstock to the back of the card front to hold everything in place. I die cut a scalloped circle from light pink cardstock and a circle from medium purple cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on the purple center and glued it to the scalloped circled, which i popped up in the wreath center using foam tape.
I die cut several flowers and flower centers from white, yellow, purple, and brown cardstock. I glued all the flower centers in place and then glued the flowers in place around the wreath. I finished by glueing a couple of leftover flowers around the sentiment in the center.
USEIT2022 - I used Spellbinders flower dies that I had not used yet, since purchasing the die set last summer. The wreath and scalloped circle also havenât seen much use, and the sentiment comes from the Hello Speing Stampin Up set, one of my earliest SU purchases and one of my oldest sets.

Colleen, this is a great case of Kathy's card. Your inlaid wreath is so creative and is the perfect embellishment for your decorative spring layers. The yellow and purple background screams Spring and Easter.

Well, count me in as an admirer of your inlaid wreath. It's lovely and it's a beautiful frame for your sentiment layer. Love the fun circle die you used to frame your sentiment. Both your colors and your design feel like Spring. Wonderful card.
