A big congrats to Kathy, the newest Featured Stamper (FS782)! She has a really big, wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the floral theme & lattice, but I used different images & dies, & also made mine a mini slimline.
For my thank you card, I knew I wanted to an area to stamp my greeting w/o having to add another panel, so I cut the bottom section by only partially covering the die w/ the top plate, cutting that far, then moving the plate to the top section & repeating this process. I used a craft knife to finish any partially cut strips above & below the solid band. I added 2 pieces of cardboard, die cut w/ the same die, underneath the lattice panel to elevate it a bit. On the panel underneath, I stamped the wildflowers in different colors of ink & also stamped a couple extra ones on a separate piece & fussy cut them. I sponged some yellow inks coming in from the upper left. After I attached the lattice, I inserted the 2 fussy cut branches in & out of the lattice, stamped the greeting & added some gems.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & links: The Write Stuff

Awesome designing. Love the ink blending and stamping showing through the elevated lattice. Doing the partial die cutting is so clever and looks fabulous, I'm so impressed that you managed to cut the other two layers of lattice in the exact same manner because they sure don't show through on here. As always, I adore your coloring and your color choices. Beautiful card.
Julie, This is such a great case of Kathy's card. You are the master of manipulating the dies to create different cuts with them. I love that you stamped the colorful foliage along the bottom of the background and blended color on the top. It looks beautiful behind the die cut with the fussy cut branches. Gorgeous!

How beautiful using the white lattice. I like that you have one of the plants poking out between the slats!
