In fact, most restrictions here were unexpectedly lifted last Saturday - all that's left pretty much is isolating if showing symptoms and masks on public transport and in stores. But I am still being careful!
I saw on the thread yesterday that Sandy mentioned never-ending dreariness. It can feel like that here too, heavy oppressive skies and no colour. I love the Spring flowers - drifts of cherry blossom and banks of daffodils, but especially the vivid yellow forsythia on bare branches, and the pop of blue from scilla (squill). I have used a very plain DP for the card front, and added my pop of blue with a coffee filter background layered behind it. My only yellow paper was paler, more like winter-flowering jasmine, so I sponged it with mustard seed DOX. I don't use the Susan's Garden florals that often because of the bulk, but I will spring for the extra postage to mail this.
I used a very old HA sentiment and added gems above it, and doodled a border.

This is stunning! It epitomizes the emergence of Spring flowers...I love watching for my perennials to break through the ground. The yellow flowers are amazing...what a wonderful design for this challenge!

What a lovely card; the forsythia is gorgeous and so life-like. I love it as well because it's usually one of the first things to bloom here in the Spring.
The sentiment is a lovely font ~ I like the little gems highlighting it.

Great card! I like the idea of the break thru stamp this way...I have to try to remember it.
I like that doodled border-goes well with the sentiment style.
We have yellow forsythia here...It is a nice harbinger of spring
