Welcome Beverly to the TLC team. I look forward to see what you will bring us. I really do like today's challenge, even though it took me all afternoon.
I got out my brayer for this challenge & of course, you knew I'd pick red. I had my piece all done & then cut it on the wrong side. I debated & debated about not trying again, but I did & I made sure I brayered in the correct direction, so when I cut my strips they flipped. I've had this heart die for years & this is the first time I used it. This will go to my hubs. I looked for some ombre paper but found none. I like to use the brayer & don't do it often enough. My old friend Nancy taught me how to do it. I used a very old Tech Tues Valentine's Day set.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'm admiring your brayer skills, Karen. I thought I'd try with a brayer first as being quicker than sponging - but it's ended up in my spare background box for upcycling, not an ombre effect to be seen. What a classy and elegant Valentine's card.
