MIX469 Altered Playing Cards

I started out by priming my playing cards with gesso and after they were dry, I glued on a layer of old tissue paper patterns. I then went to town and added several different mediums...ink sprays, acrylic paints, pearl ex mixed with glazing medium....I used chunky ep (love that stuff) and guilding flakes to add some texture and interest. The fish one has some netting and liquid pearls to depict an ocean. I really had fun with this. Come play along in the MIX challenge and show off your altered playing cards!
