So you may not believe this, but when I was a senior in college, my roommate came up to visit me. We decided to wash my dog and give him a purple dye! Then he got out of the yard. So we were trying to catch him as he was running around town. We caught him and tried to get the purple out but that was a lost cause. My parents came home from Disneyland to a purple dog. My mother started to laugh ...... That was the end of dying a dog a color.....
So I decided to give this dog a purple dye job! Oh what fun......

I love it, Goofy in purple : ) Or is that Pluto? I get the two mixed up. Also, your story of dying your real dog had me laughing out loud ~ the things we do when we're young!!!

Great write-up, I enjoyed it. And I like the classy houndstooth check with the fun purple Goofy. There's a Snoopy cartoon where he runs away to the circus and the owner tries to dye him pink to match the performing poodles.
