for FS780... congratulations to marilynmac! What a fabulous gallery. I chose this cute bee card from her gallery.
I used the HA January 2021 MMH Kit for most of this card. I first cut a circle using a wonky stitched circle die (MFT Stamps) out of the Pale Yellow Glitter paper that came with the kit. I added the Honeycomb window die, also cut with the same circle. I stamped the flowers from the kit and cut them out as well. And guess what? They were huge for my A2. I could have made a square card, but decided to stick with the usual A2, and just cut each side off the circle. I ended up really liking it. The flowers layer is popped up with foam tape.
The bees are stamped in VersaFine Onyx Black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored them with Copic markers, cut them out, and popped them up on the flower layer. I added some sequins from Honeybee Stamps. I layered all of this on a black mat, cut out with a wonky stitched rectangle die (MFT). To finish the card, I added some metallic gold Kreinik thread around the middle, and the word "buzz" using the Tall Skinny Alphabet from scrapbook dot com.
Enjoy your week!

This is beautiful! I noticed the card you cased of Marilyn's too because of it's striking black base and wonderful bees. Both your card and hers are fantastic. Saved to my faves!

Happy stamping to all you Splitcoasters who inspire me each day!
Judy, this is such a great case of Marilyn's card. I am so glad you used your circle design on the A2 sized card. The layered circles look so creative on the black background and are the perfect backdrop for the bees. I love the sparkle with the gold glitter paper and the bling.

Luv your design and layout, but most of all luv the soft iridescence on the wings. I think cutting off the outside edges of the circles added a lot to to creative design.
A fav for sure.

your bee themed layout is so cool- like the honeycomb portion on the right and those bees on the flower. Even your "buzz" sentiment is cool. A favorite!
