I added LOADS of Lime Green Brusho to my soap and water, and it's still very faint but I did it. Maybe I should have used a darker colour, I certainly remember it being more successful last time I tried.
The wreath is cut from my own DIY faux wood, which is reinker mixed with white PVA and brushed onto card with a foam brush. Don't mix it fully, so there are some streaks. It shows better on a larger piece - I actually cut the wreath from a failed attempt at my sample for next Thursday's WTUI challenge when I had the visible grain running the wrong direction. But like the bubbles - it is a faux wood.
I added a little bird from Marianne, and while it's definitely like a wren - when I had one blue flower left from my failed backgrounds for Lydia's reflection challenge, and a leaf cut from a serendipity squares background which had pink in it, I coloured the bird in bluebird colours. Added some spatter effect with Gorgeous Grunge and vintage photo after stamping the sentiment. Dry-embossed the same size of stitched rectangle into the base, and popped the panel up on foam. I added Stickles to the centre of the flower.
So, between bubbles, re-inker, PVA, alcohol inks on the flower and Inktense pencils, I am well MIXed even though it's a CAS card.

Gorgeous card! The background is great and while faint still is a beautiful background for the wreath, bird, and sentiment. So happy to see it in the challenge gallery!
