Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road

 ...to get good bread.

DH wanted a card with bread to send to his friend in Maine. All I could offer him was a TCP digi and this chicken - he went for the chicken. So funny, I have just been transferring all my files from my current PC to a new one, and I actually found the order for this bakery stamp - $4.95 at the time, and I must have faxed it in.
The background is an acrylic pour which I did over the holidays. The colours were a surprisingly good match for the bakery even though I wasn't thinking of it at the time. Bakery coloured with Inktense, I drew a sidewalk border to go across the whole bottom of the card and added a little awning across the top. The chicken is coloured with Polychromos and has glossy accents on the wine glass and beak.

LOL. That chicken! He crosses a lot of roads....that is a good reason though! I am a bread hound myself. Faxed...you just took me back 40 years lol.

Cute and I like the sidewalk you drew..and the pour BG is cool looking!

That is a cute French Chicken and you had a French bakery....
