Hi, everyone! Brrrr...it's only 15 degrees here in Indiana today, but I'm dreaming of my magnolia trees being in full bloom....hurry up, spring!! This week's Inspiration Challenge is to find inspiration from Kia's Afternoon Tea Pinterest Board.....I chose this beautiful tea set as my inspiration piece. A few month's ago, at a stamp show, I picked up a couple of stamp sets from 'The Ton' stamp company , which I had never heard of before. Today I am inking one of them up for a birthday card for a friend. The magnolia image and sentiment were gold embossed on watercolor paper; the blossoms and background were water-colored. Since the tea cup and saucer had gold rims, I used gold metallic paper for mats and gold cording to coordinate with the gold embossing powder. The main panel was cut out with the Pierced Rectangles Dies from Divinity Designs LLC. The pretty gemstones are also from DD. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

What beautiful flowers - I love the gold details. Such a pretty card.
I had my nails done in a similar shade of pink to cheer up the grey days and because we have been asked to add pink to our black for a funeral on Tuesday.
