I had more fun with the sketch; much easier to do something rather generic and geometric with it, as it doesn't matter as much if you can't see everything. Thanks Lisa, I'm getting the hang of it.
This is also for yesterday's teaparty and ABC16H is for holiday. Since Polly talked about New Year's Eve for the tea party, I chose that for the holiday challenge. I too am not a NYE person, I can't stay up past 10ish. Never could, even when younger. Anyone have someone who could use a teaparty? Contact Jennifrann!
This all started with the embossed gold piece on the right. Hadn't used this folder yet (3D, gorgeous!) and I had a scrap piece of gold staring at me that was about the right size. Mounted it on some silvery cs. A while ago, I had done some gel printing with Golden acrylics and metallic gold paint and a stencil so that's what the horizontal pieces are. I used two layers of the silver dotted vellum with sticky paper behind and added the gold diecut 'shine bright'. Added some gold stars and some glimmer flakes on the left hand side. That's it! No stamps or inks used at all!
