For today's MMTPT challenge I've made an easel card, I've made the gnome pattern myself, piercing holes in the paper over a printed gnome, then embroidered with shiny threads, the bg was sponged with dox and added some splatters, I've punched the flowers out of left overs, added red rhinestones, the butterflies are from another left over from my butterfly card from yesterday, I've stamped the sentiment rounded all the corners and layered with sparkling foil on white papers, you can't see it very well but in real life the bottom looks like a mirror or clear water with floating flowers
This card is going to my sister.

Anita, that gnome is so adorable. Embroidered cards are how I first 'met' you on this site. . The double, staggered easel style is cool too. I like the Dutch word for gnomes better than the english. Kaboutertjes.

I love Gnomes, and you did a fabulous job on this little guy. Those colors really make him pop... and the base of the card is adorable with great colors and dimension.

Your stitched gnome is absolutely amazing. I never know where you find the time for such detailed work. Thanks for describing the way the bottom really looks like water with floating flowers, I can just imagine it.

What a great easel card! Absolutely love your embroidery of the gnome, how cool! And the daisies look lovely with the red rhinestone centers. Your sister will love this!
