Our Teapot Challenge this month hosted by Sabrina has 2 parts. For our card we were to decorate the front and the back of the front panel, too. The second part was to share a happy highlight from this past year.
For my card, I stamped my image and then, used a light box to trace the outline of the snow globe. I drew in the snowman and penguin's backs. I colored both snow globes. I used a die to cut an oval in my card stock and a second panel. I put acetate between the two pieces and glued on the front and back snow globes. I added a black die cut oval to the front and black snowflakes.
For the inside, I glued a piece of designer paper which had snowflakes which would show through the acetate. I printed Happy New Year 2022.
The highlight of my year was being able to celebrate with all my grandchildren at my youngest granddaughter's first birthday party.

Sweet snow globe. And I really like that black openwork border framing the aperture.
That's certainly a great highlight of the year, it must have been so special to celebrate with family like that.

How cute is this and what a great idea to do a snow globe! I'm so glad you got to see all your grandchildren....staying away from family has been the hardest part of these last 2 years.
