I am excited about joining the Color Challenge team as a guest designer this month. We are starting the new year off with some beautiful colors that Chris chose: Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, and Granny Apple Green with any blue for the dessert option. I used dsp in the long retired color Bashful Blue. I also included Mossy Meadow. The sentiment is a rub on that I discovered I had when going through my stuff.

Jane, welcome! We're so glad to have you designing with us this month! The die you used makes such a pretty flower, and you've even inlaid all the little pieces! What a lovely effect! I used Bashful Blue on my card, too!

So glad to be guest designing with you this month! I love how you used the challenge colors. The tulip die-cut is terrific and you stepped it up with the inlaid pieces. Fabulous look. I remember Bashful Blue and it was a nice choice for dessert. Well done. This is a beautiful card.

ooh, love the pretty flower and how you did the pieces. Love how both the sentiment and the one leaf interrupt the frame. Nice that it's on a patterned background too!

Jane your clean and simple design is stunning! The delicate frame around your inlaid flower creates just the right accent! Love those rub-on's, I haven't used mine for a quite some time, looks like I need to dig mine out! TFS
