The birds reminded me of the Cheep Talk stamp set, especially the bird on the branch. My colors came from a scrap of DSP with red in it. My card is going to a lonely senior who likes cardinals and the color red. My bird is certainly not a cardinal, but I did stamp him in red. I used markers directly on the stamp for the branch and leaves in two colors each. Stamped the curved sentiment in Bermuda Bay. The image was die-cut into a tag. I glued on the DSP scrap and scored two lines underneath it. Then I attached the tag. My first thought was to use the bow at the point on the tag but it did not look right, so I used an enamel dot and placed the bow in the corner.
Quick and easy to start off the New Year. Thanks for looking. Happy 2022.

Perfectly precious, Diane! I remember loving to use this set years ago when I lived at home - seeing it brings back fond memories (I wonder if my mom still has it?). You did a beautiful job of featuring these delightful images and applying it to the challenge!
