My moon is egg shaped, I'm sorry to say. Maybe it really is an egg, I don't know. Besides the IC, this is for Wednesday's WCW-landscape vignettes and for yesterday's MIX-mirror. I did my own thing with the WCW, wasn't feeling a little house or mountains. I have wanted to paint something with people walking a dog because my family mostly are dog people and they love to go on walks. You can see them down at the bottom right. That's my brother, SIL and Scout.
As far as the MIX goes, because I used some metallic inks, it was 'reflective.' And it was a memory of going for a winter walk with them, long ago.
The alcohol ink background was an experiment in using alcohol inks on watercolor paper with blending solution. I watched a video, she had great results, me not so much. I tried it first on cheap water, horrible! More expensive watercolor, much better, which is what this is. Just another way to play, I guess. You use a lot of blending solution. I quite like it with the vignette.

Just wonderful with that huge moon, and the vignette of dog and walkers. Happy New Year!

The background is fantastic Jean, and the mountains look great, maybe your moon is a bit big but I think it's a wonderful snowy day in the mountains (No baby to come in my family, just want to make some baby cards for my stash)

WOW this is pure magic! That scene is awesome...I didn't notice the moon was an egg shape,,,you shouldn't have mentioned it. I LOVE the alcohol bg frame...the colors are great and a nice contrast to the more neutral main image.
